The Search: Future Job Seekers

According to a survey conducted by the Messiah College Career Center, 60 percent of the graduating class of 2010 are currently employed or volunteering, 20 percent are in graduate school, and 20 percent are still looking for a job. Full story

Weight Room

Proposed Changes to the Weight Room

The weight room, located in the basement of Eisenhower Campus Center, is one of the most popular places for athletes and students alike to train and exercise at Messiah College.  It is so popular, in fact, that the Student Government Association has received complaints about the weight room being too small and too cramped. In light of these complaints, SGA has proposed that some of the racquetball courts be converted to extra weight room space. Full story

Messiah College is now offering a 2013 May Term cross-cultural trip to China. Students can look forward to hands-on experience in Chinese culture, such as martial-arts, painting, Chinese calligraphy, tea appreciation, and Chinese food. Full story

Since his arrival on the team, Alarcon has been a solid contributor in various relays and individual events. Alarcon currently holds the men’s record in the 200 individual medley, along with the 400 yard medley relay. Full story

A Day of Love...And Bitterness

According to insideadaytoremember.com, 52% of men propose on this day, but 50 % of women dump their boyfriends if they don't give them anything on Valentines' Day. With these statistics in mind, I think it is safe to say that for some, this holiday is full of warm fuzzy feelings and ultimate happiness. But to others, this holiday only brings bitterness and might as well be officially named "Singles Awareness Day."
