Consider me a converted post-vegetarian. Of course, post in this case connotes something more akin to beyond vegetarian rather than simply former vegetarian. Eighteen months of meatless nirvana--filled with other people's endless probing of my lifestyle choice--has taken a butcher's-knife toll on my patience reserves, not to mention my original rationales for passing on meat.
